How soon can I get my item?
Standard, in stock items can ship within 48 hours, and rush delivery is available. Custom items will take longer, depending on the material availability and the amount of design and work time involved.
LLW will work with you to deliver in plenty of time for your needs. During your consultation, we’ll ask you about when you need your item. For a wedding, we’ll discuss how far in advance you’ll need it for pictures, hair testing, and so forth. For a re-enactor or a special event, you’ll want your headwear in advance in order to try it on, become comfortable with it and plan your entire ensemble.
We know you have better things to worry about than whether your hat will be finished in time.
How are the items priced?
Custom items are priced using a formula that takes into account actual material costs and time spent on creation. This gives a great amount of flexibility to the client, to have exactly the quality of materials – or price target – that you are looking for. Prices are quoted at time of order. Standard items, such as most of the rhinestone tiaras we carry, have set prices.
In either category, you’ll find costs that are reasonable and a good value compared to retail stores. Call or email for more details.
How can I save an extra 10%?
By showing off! Help build the portfolio. If you give us a good picture of you wearing or using your accessory, and consent to placing it in the portfolio, we’ll rebate you 10% of the purchase price.
For local customers, we’ll even take the picture and send you a copy. Many brides like to do this on the day they have a practice hairdo done.
What are the payment terms?
Custom orders require 50% deposit at time of order. The remainder is due on delivery. Design changes can be accommodated after the order, depending on how much is already finished and any limiting factors such as order times for new materials. .
Standard items have full payment due at time of order.
Special Services
For local customers, we’ll steam your veil or other suitable item for free up to a year after delivery.
Vintage headwear can be restored or replicated.
For historical design and construction, we research for accuracy.
